Wood is recruiting for a Senior Assistant Company Secretary, Subsidiary Governance to join our Corporate Secretariat team on a permanent basis. We are an experienced team with a fantastic culture and drive for excellence. We are open to this role being either hybrid from one of our UK offices or remote.

The Role

We are looking for a forward thinking, engaging individual with excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management with the ability to oversee the corporate compliance of c.350 entities across the EMEA and APAC regions. 

The role will line manage a team of 3 – 4 Subsidiary Governance Associates where you will support their personal and professional development, you should be able to effectively engage a wide range of stakeholders at all levels across the business and Group Functions. This role is expected to make autonomous decisions relating to subsidiary compliance and governance matters in their area of responsibility and within legislative frameworks and company policy, seeking support from and escalating matters to the HCG as necessary.
