Job Description Summary
The Service Lead is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects on site. This role serves as a key partner to the Project Manager and/or Site Operations Manager, supporting the delivery of the project in its entirety.
Depending on the project’s shift model, the Service Lead may share responsibilities with an appointed back-to-back counterpart. The position requires working on site from an SOV, JUV, or local base.
In addition, the Service Lead will take ownership of project execution readiness for each assigned project, ensuring all preparations are in place for smooth and efficient delivery.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead the site team(s). This could be executed form a service operation vessel, Jack-Up vessel, local onshore base or in some cases even remotely. Different shift models in accordance with the local regulations could apply
- Be responsible for all project execution related tasks with respect to safety, quality, sub-budgets and schedule
- Ensure safe, compliant and successful execution of all operations, while staying under the I&I rate
- Coordinate and perform administrative activities as per relevant service processes, including tracking project activities, manage component/parts deliveries, manpower levels, project schedules, purchase requisitions, execution budget, execution KPIs, documentation requirements etc.
- Participate in process and quality improvement. Same as in business initiatives and provide feedback on lessons learned
- Supporting the project manager and/or site operations manager in the preparation of projects and defining project execution plans, setup, budget plans and other duties
- Support developing procedures and methodologies to achieve business goals and best practice
Qualifications/Requirements
- Significant experience in the offshore wind operations
- Significant experience with operational execution from SOVs, JUVs and CTVs.
- Significant technical experience of offshore wind turbines
- Ability and willingness to work offshore (worldwide) in a rotational shift system on a vessel for the time of project execution. While working remote or from office location in the preparation phase
- The role requires 50% to 100% of travel activity
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment, remote teams, strong team player
- Fluency in English
