ECS is seeking to hire a Consultant II to join us in supporting Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) Innovation Ecosystem (IE). This work is based in Washington, DC, with an option for remote work.
The portfolio of projects, generated through grassroot crowdsourcing initiatives, leadership directives, industry roundtables, and partnerships, requires a team of flexible and competent individuals capable of producing quality deliverables on tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be an energetic professional to support fast-moving, wide-ranging program and initiative needs.
This role provides client delivery while consistently demonstrating advanced general management consulting skills. Individuals in this role will support or lead tasks or initiatives with minimal supervision from senior colleagues, or without independently, to include leading work products, leading client relationships, meeting and/or setting deadlines, and address key client business issues by deploying expert-level consulting tools and methodologies.
The candidate should be innovative, strategic, and have a passion for contributing to a high-performing team that supports clients in federal health care administration and management.
A successful Consultant II will support the following activities:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Plan, facilitate, and document meetings; track action items and deliver recommendations.
- Manage timelines and ensure successful delivery of program materials and project timelines.
- Create high-quality project deliverables, including project management plans, presentations, reports, and one-pagers.
- Communicate project status, progress, and impact effectively to stakeholders and the broader team.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to drive positive change.
- Escalate risks and concerns promptly to project leads and leadership.
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery of final outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality standards are met.
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000
