Serve as Surgery Subject Matter Expert responsible for maintenance and management of Oracle Health Millennium perioperative solutions. This role ensures surgical systems are running optimally and support user workflows. Responsibility includes monitoring of application health, implementation of change requests, and overall support for perioperative systems. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as lead on support team responsible for overall surgical and anesthesia system performance
- Monitor for Flashes and Code Releases
- Provide guidance to client on recent releases and best practices for tool configuration, for the following areas:
- Surgical Documentation
- Surgery Inventory (not including inventory management systems)
- Locations and Service Resources
- Preference Cards
- Anesthesia Records
- Anesthesia Medications
- Surgical Charging
- Review and implement change requests in accordance with best practices and client standards
- Provide support for troubleshooting incidents escalated by Tier 1 Help Desk
- Monitor surgical systems configurations for health and performance
- Mentor other surgical consultants as needed
JOB SCOPE: The Surgery Support Lead is the primary subject matter expert for the Oracle Health Millennium surgical applications. This role is responsible for the overall performance and configuration of perioperative related applications. The person in this role must understand design and configuration, as well as troubleshooting and maintenance. The support lead works with internal and external sources under minimal direction and uses independent judgement to make decisions and complete tasks. Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
- Minimum of 7 years combined related work experience, including:
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting or other client-facing IT roles
- An additional 2 years of work experience directly related to the duties of the job
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle Health surgery applications: Location Resource Maintenance, Procedure Manager, FBDesigner, Bedrock, Olympus, etc.
- Experience in HCIT system design and build
- Experience in workflow and technology assessment
- Experience with troubleshooting tools and processes
- Ability to manage work and lead teams
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex information to operations, financial, and application teams
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $130-160K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
