As a Clinical Supply Chain Specialist at ICON, you will act as the primary clinical supply logistics expert for medium to high complexity clinical studies. You will be responsible for forecasting, procurement coordination, labeling activities, and end-to-end supply oversight to ensure compliant, timely delivery of clinical supplies throughout the lifecycle of global clinical trials.
What You Will Be Doing
Acting as the primary specialist for clinical supply logistics on medium to high complexity studies
Developing and maintaining supply forecast models
Coordinating procurement activities for investigational product, comparator, NIMP, and ancillary supplies
Interpreting protocol requirements to support packaging and labeling design
Supporting IVRS design and set-up activities
Coordinating the origination, proofing, and implementation of clinical study labels
Proactively communicating supply timelines and risks to stakeholders
Preparing documentation and supporting import/export activities for clinical supplies
Ensuring adequate quantity and timely delivery of supplies throughout the trial
Monitoring and managing retest dating of study supplies
Resolving clinical supply complaints and managing replacement requests
Supporting financial planning activities for global studies
What You Need
BSc in a Health Science discipline or a pharmacy degree
In-depth knowledge of regulations governing investigational products, including GMP and ICH/GCP
Strong experience in clinical supply chain logistics management
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
