ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring our first Sales Manager in Australia to build, lead, and scale our sales presence in the region. This is a foundational leadership role responsible for establishing our Sydney-based sales team from the ground up while developing our footprint across Australia and broader APAC markets.

You will focus on larger law firms and in-house legal departments, with deal sizes ranging from $40k to $500k+. This is a high-impact opportunity where you’ll define our go-to-market motion in the region, build a high-performing team, and execute strategies to win complex, enterprise deals.

As our first sales leader in Australia, you will play a critical role in setting up our regional operations, including helping establish our Sydney office, shaping local sales processes, and acting as a key ambassador for the company in-market. Reporting to the VP Sales (based in North America), you’ll collaborate closely with a globally distributed team across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.

Success in this role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, as well as the ability to operate effectively across time zones and cultures.

Our Compensation Philosophy

Spellbook uses industry benchmark data to establish compensation bands for all roles. The salary range listed for a position reflects the expected total wage range for the role—including base salary and on-target commissions, where applicable—and may span multiple career levels. Final compensation is determined during the interview process based on factors such as experience, skills, scope, and role level. In addition to base salary and applicable commissions, total rewards may include equity, health and wellness benefits, and other company programs.
