Our product design team is in need of a design system engineer to help take our design system to the next level and bring our prototypes to life. This role will have 2 main responsibilities: The first will be to take the lead on developing core components and templates to make it easy for developers across our company to create a consistent experience for our users. You’ll sit in close collaboration with a designer who creates the components in Figma, taking those designs through development and documentation. You’ll be a core part of our design team, but work closely with engineers across our teams. With strong project management skills, you’ll be proactive in collecting needs and delivering clear solutions and guidelines. You’ll bring the library from its solid start to a robust catalog of solutions across mobile apps and responsive web, to be consumed by engineering teams building for our target end users of patients, clinicians, and partners.
The second main responsibility will be to create working (html/js) prototypes, bringing designer’s figma designs to life before engineering creates the final product. These prototypes will have myriad benefits, from usability testing to detailed handoffs.
You’ll be part of a vibrant and fun design team, a fully-remote group of product designers and user researchers from California to Copehagen.
