Databricks is looking to hire a Global Sales Commissions Operations Manager reporting to the Director, Global Sales Commissions Operations. As the co-owner of our Xactly system you will be very hands on, bring deep domain experience and will be the subject-matter expert. You will have a focus on systems and process improvement while maintaining best practices.
This role will partner cross-functionally to understand, implement, and manage business critical projects related to Sales Commissions operations, that support future growth and scale. You will apply advanced analytical, problem solving and engage team members across departments in the execution of streamlined sales compensation processes.
The impact you will have:
- Be an Xactly technical expert for configuration, maintenance, and updates (Connect feeds, crediting/commission rules, formulas, plans, statement reporting, Analytics reporting).
- Co-own Xactly monthly payroll processing and data validation in collaboration with the business administration team.
- Solid understanding of data structure, plan design intricacies and support commissions reporting.
- Define, document and drive data source needs to support plan design and Xactly administration.
- Co-own the implementation of the new Sales Compensation program each fiscal year while driving SIT/UAT.
- Create processes for global sales compensation rollout including but not limited to: plan documentation templates, incentive statements and enablement.
- Manage the periodic training on the Xactly system mechanics and usage such as navigation, understanding of statement data, policy interpretation and document acceptance of plans.
- Optimize Xactly system scalability, streamlining, automation, data accuracy and enhanced governance and controls.
- Process owner for SOX requirements and ensure compliance for all documented tasks.
- Ability to manage sales commissions, operational metrics in the form of dashboards, reporting and analytical insights.
What we look for:
- 8+ years of experience in Xactly implementation/configuration, end to end commission System Administration including but not limited to defining business requirements (functional design documentation, data flow diagrams), plan configuration/rule writing, data integration, SIT/UAT, workflow management, monthly processing and analytics ideally with a fast-growing enterprise software company with complex commissions plans
- Demonstrated ability of continuous improvement projects, processes and system usage
- Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence change
- High level of attention to detail, including the ability to maintain records of projects and program implementations
- Experience in thinking strategically and acting operationally while managing ambiguity, risk and changing direction of projects and strategies
- Strong organizational, change management, and execution skills, along with the ability to prioritize and drive multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or related field of study
