The Data Ingest Analyst performs editorial, administrative and analytical functions related to the ongoing development and creation of media databases and content, specifically in the audiovisual sphere. This person will be responsible for securing text and image data related to TV Series, Movies and Sports airing on TV or video-on-demand and which will in turn enable various Content Video teams to perform complex manipulations on the entertainment information that forms the core of Gracenote’s media database.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source and acquire metadata content & issue technical instruction to internal Engineering teams.
  • Establish relationships with Content Providers in the media industry market space.
  • Establish relationships and facilitate internal & Client facing support cases by analyzing market trends, supporting challenges and driving improvement.
  • Execute process, system & data related tasks & functions with quality, accuracy, & timeliness for portfolio of assigned work.
  • Build and maintain a proficient subject matter knowledge of Reference related applications, processes, data, and SLA’s.
  • Understand team strategies and processes to ensure product quality and client satisfaction, and lead continuous improvement of products, processes, and/or services.
  • Adhere to standards around process, procedure, training, certification and deployment needs.
  • Report key performance metrics that provide insight into operations health and control, and that align with client/market needs.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Proficient MS Excel skill set, with a working knowledge of JSON data interchange and XML transmission processes.
  • Fluent written and verbal English and Portuguese communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data scenarios, handle workflows, & navigate across multiple systems & processes.
  • Ability to make independent decisions while facilitating discussion & communicating information clearly, tactfully & professionally.
  • Ability to develop compelling & persuasive presentation material.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational communication skills that develop effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite & MS Office products.
  • Working hours – 12:00pm to 9:00pm from Monday to Friday
