About the role:
As an Accountant, you will be part of our fantastic operations team, working directly with our Financial Controller, being responsible for delivering world-class financial services for the business covering – among other tasks – financial compliance, invoices, expenses and payrolls in a global-size company.
This is an exciting opportunity for everyone looking for exposure and experience in multi subsidiary companies (UK, US and EU) dealing with both SaaS and hardware retail, as well as working with global teams located between UK and US.
Key responsibilities:
- PnL and Balance Sheet management
- Bank Reconciliation
- Assisting in preparation of the month end accounts
- Expenses and prepaid cards management
- Payroll management for UK and US teams
- Invoicing, VAT & Tax checks and bills processing
- Debtors management
- Year end Audit File preparation
Essential skills and experience:
- CIMA/ACCA part qualified to qualified
- Experienced as an Accountant / Junior Accountant or equivalent (minimum 3 years)
- Experience working with NetSuite
- Attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Team player,
- Can-do attitude
- Excellent Excel skills
- Willing to work 100% remotely
Preferred but not essential skills and experience:
- Experience working in a start-up
- Experience managing / using: Paypal, Stripe, Bento, Pleo, Wire
- Experience working with Moorepay (UK payroll) / Trinet (US payroll) or similar payroll processing software
- Experience working with Hubspot CRM system
- Experience working with the Shopify commerce system
- Experience working with Google Slides, Spreadsheets, and Docs
About the contract:
Job Type: Part-time, Fixed term contract, 3-4 days a week
Salary: £38,000k – £46,000 /pa, prorated
Contract length: 9-12 months*
