As our business evolves, an Account Manager, you will be responsible for advising and growing your book of business. Discovering the ever-changing needs of our clients and providing solutions is your top priority.
As one of the first few members of the sales and account management team, you will have the ability to influence the company’s growth trajectory, competitive positioning and customer philosophy. As the company grows, you will be in a position to expand your responsibility, including potentially leading sales teams, collaborating with our executive team, and helping to shape our culture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develops new business by analyzing account potential; initiating, developing, and closing sales; recommending new applications and sales strategies.
  • Identifies potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and company personnel who have worked with customers; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analyzing opportunities.
  • Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.
  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers, develop and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients, forecast and tracks client account metrics
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Develops sales by making initial pitch; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services.
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections; preparing contracts and retaining customers driving recurring business.
  • Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions.

What You Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales and/or customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Grit and determination to do what it takes to close deals.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Natural curiosity and desire to learn how to build and scale a business.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to take on tasks outside of your comfort zone.

$75,000 – $90,000 a year
