Guidehouse is looking for a Remote Software Developer/Engineer experienced in ESRI, .NET, C#, ArcGIS, Pro SDK and Microsoft Visual Studio to support multiple Forest Service applications of varying complexity, including some with maps using ArcGIS. You will work on an agile team that is highly collaborative, fast-paced, and is made up of dedicated professionals who are respectful, supportive, and appreciative of each other.
Specific Tasks include but are not limited to:
Engagement in analysis, design and development for projects and backlog work with .NET C#, Esri – ArcGIS Pro SDK development needs.
Participation in agile events and ceremonies, such as daily stand ups, interactive planning, and retrospectives.
Interaction with federal staff including Federal Project Managers and Account Managers
What You Will Need:
- 5 years’ experience developing and supporting Esri, .NET and C# Windows desktop applications
- Experience with Esri – ArcGIS Pro SDK and/or ArcMap/ArcObjects development
- Proficiencies with Visual Studio
- Proficient in SQL
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on Agile teams
- BA/BS degree – Relevant experience may be substituted (Additional 4 years of experience can be substituted for degree. i.e. 9 years total experience without degree)
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident is required for the position
- Candidate must successfully pass a Federal Background National Agency Check/Investigation

- Experience with ArcGIS Python APIs, Arcpy and Python
- Experience with ArcGIS Server and Enterprise Geodatabase in Oracle

- Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript
- Experience with Safe Software FME
- Experience with PostgreSQL, PostGIS
- Experience using GitHub or similar tools
- Experience with Government systems
The annual salary range for this position is $87,500.00-$131,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
