Guidehouse is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst. The analyst role is integral in supporting compensation programs and processes to maintain Guidehouse’s competitive position in the global professional services industry. In this role, you will support broad-based compensation processes including analyzing market data to create competitive compensation recommendations and evaluate positions to make job level and salary range recommendations as well as perform ad-hoc equity analyses to assist Human Capital and business partners’ evaluation of compensation arrangements. You will partner with all levels of Guidehouse employees and HR to ensure competitive, compliant and cost-effective programs. This position will report to the Director, Compensation.
- Administer and evaluate the organization’s current base salary and short-term incentive programs and plans.
- Participate in compensation surveys in all pertinent countries, maintain market data database with up-to-date job matching at all times, including loading new survey data, employee data, and job matches
- Analyze market data to create competitive compensation recommendations and evaluate positions to make job level and salary range recommendations by performing job analysis
- Conduct FLSA analysis and audits to determine job classifications.
- Administer the retention bonus program including draft agreements, tracking the acceptance rate, providing copies in DocuSign and sending for processing
- Analyze organizational pay practices and make recommendations for salary changes to ensure internal equity
- Respond to management requests for ad hoc job analyses and salary recommendations
- Research professional literature and other internal and external resources to gather data for special compensation programs as required
- Assist with compensation compliance requirements including minimum wage analysis and works in support of the broader pay equity activities
- Assist in large scale market analyses by extracting data from Workday and salary survey tool and presenting it to the Comp Partner for further review. Develop PowerPoint presentations for sharing with Executive
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a minimum 5 years Compensation administration and/or consulting experience
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer skills with advanced Microsoft Excel skills (array formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, etc.)
- Acute attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork
- The ability to successfully interface with all levels of management and work independently
- Solid project management capabilities and demonstrated abilities to meet deadlines with a high-quality work product
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in managing sensitive pay data

The annual salary range for this position is $77,500.00-$116,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
