Osano is hiring a strategic, experienced + empathetic Head of Product Marketing to join our growing Marketing team! This role will be responsible for bringing our story to life as the data privacy management platform across our target markets. We’re looking for someone who has a knack for developing creative + differentiated messaging, compelling content, and intentional go-to-market strategies while working cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, and Revenue teams to understand the goals of our customers.

In this role, you’ll be a privacy evangelist and own our go-to-market plan for product launches + market communications throughout our product and sales lifecycles. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll bring experience working with market-led SaaS companies, natural curiosity to thoroughly understand our platform and what sets us apart from our competitors, and the ability to translate our differentiation into key messaging to targeted personas. Being a leader + a people manager is an essential role at Osano. The Role

  • Develop a deep understanding of our target market, buyer personas, use cases, and customer needs through research and customer interactions.
  • Strategize and implement differentiated product positioning + engaging messaging that resonates with our target personas while taking into account our product roadmap, market trends, and the competitive privacy landscape.
  • Generate competitively differentiated and impactful storytelling around our capabilities and solutions
  • Create engaging and high-quality marketing collateral across channels (web copy, webinars, sales decks, sales plays, website messaging, demo videos, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to build playbooks, customer stories, competitive insights, and a strong feedback loop between sales and product.
  • Support the Revenue Marketing team to execute successful marketing campaigns to drive qualified new business and expansion opportunities into our pipeline.
  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies for existing + new product launches.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product leadership to drive awareness + gain insights from key analysts at Gartner, Forrester, and others in the future.

About You

  • You have at least 6 years of Product Marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company, as well as strong experience building + managing a high-functioning team.
  • You have worked within the privacy, compliance, legal, or security space. You can bring outside perspective to understand the needs of these personas.
  • You are a strategic consultant + product marketing visionary. You’re eager to execute initiatives to scale our revenue targets as a high-growth, early-stage startup in the booming privacy industry.
  • You take pride in your communication and see it as a representation of your brand. You understand that clear, concise communication builds rapport and trust.
  • You are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and thrive as a partner to other internal teams. You’re also adaptable and understand that deadlines and priorities may shift as we scale.
  • You have some experience working with HubSpot’s Marketing Hub and even better if you’ve worked with HubSpot’s CRM!
  • You have a hunger to constantly improve by seeking out feedback and are self-aware of your capabilities + knowledge.
  • You are highly resourceful and able to overcome obstacles with positivity, creativity, and grit.
  • You are curious and able to adapt to dynamic research, development, and industry knowledge.

Compensation 

Depending on your skill, experience, and quota capacity, you can expect your annual on-target earnings to be somewhere between $165,000 and $185,000 upon joining the company. In addition, you’ll also receive stock options.
