The Account Manager will be part of our growing Account Management team and work with Sales, Customer Support, Product and technical teams to provide our customers a seamless experience. You will be responsible for creating and managing relationships, maintaining account health, providing product feedback and being a customer advocate. In this role, you will work with internal and external stakeholders and will need to balance multiple requests. Success in this role directly ties to the value we provide our customers.

What You’ll do

  • Responsible for maintaining and driving existing customer spend, identifying areas for Fastly expansion that create mutual success
  • Monitor relationship and account health, establishing long-term strategic plans
  • Accelerate customer adoption and ensure customer happiness
  • Own overall relationship with identified clients – be their go-to person at Fastly
  • Actively engage with customers to understand their business via formal and informal methods
  • Collaborate with the product, marketing and sales teams to provide feedback for ongoing customer support

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of proven track record in a role focusing on customer relationship development and growth
  • A sense of curiosity to understand customer goals coupled with an ability to understand and align technical concepts
  • Strong project management skills, high detail orientation and exceptional organizational skills
  • Thrives in a multitasking environment, with an ability to adjust priorities
  • Independent, self-disciplined and possess strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong customer service; professional and friendly demeanor
  • Reputation for integrity and dedicated work ethic with desire for ownership of process success
  • Fluent spoken & written English required, tailoring depth to fit varying audiences
  • Business proficiency in Mandarin, both written and verbal, highly preferred

We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field of study
  • Technical background highly valued
  • CDN experience

Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements:

This position is a remote role and open to candidates residing in the following locations: US West (Remote), US Remote (All US)

Salary:

The estimated range for On-Target Earnings for this role is $117,780 to $171,190. On-Target Earnings consists of a combination of annual base pay and sales compensation variable target.  The standard pay split for this role (i.e. base pay vs. variable target %) is 75/25.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role is eligible to participate in Fastly’s global sales compensation plan and may participate in Fastly’s equity program.
