As a Licensed Insurance Specialist, you will be part of our Homeowners (HO3) team. In this role, you will be taking inbound calls to solve customer issues and inquiries while creating an easy environment for customers to do business with Assurant and communicating the customer’s value to the company. This includes assisting customers in purchasing, upgrading, and retaining insurance products by accurately describing available features and benefits. You must have an active P&C license.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Respond to questions concerning customer benefits, and resolve product inquiries
- Document necessary account information and offer custom solutions that benefit the customer and Assurant
- Identify areas of sales opportunity to solicit company programs on calls
- Deliver results measured by customer satisfaction, efficiency, quality, retention, and sales metrics
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- Active P&C license
- Experience in MS Office, i.e., Outlook, Word, and Excel
- A minimum of 1 year of inbound call center experience
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
- A college degree is desired
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume team-based environment
- Must have excellent listening skills and verbal communication skills
- Capable interpersonal skills with a collaborative team approach
Pay Range
$15.16 – $23.50
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience, and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
