WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking someone who is passionate about sales technology and who can articulate complex technical concepts into simple terms that resonate with our customers. This role will be responsible for shaping our partner messaging and positioning and jointly creating the go-to-market strategy with our strategic partners. This role will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product Management to position Salesloft offerings in the Sales Engagement Platform (SEP) market place.
You are capable of piecing together incomplete data to determine where a market is moving. You understand details and technologies, but you maintain a view of the bigger picture.
You are adept at communicating (writing and presenting) complex material to a wide variety of audiences from executives to entry level employees, engineers to sales.
What you’ll do on a day-to-day basis:
- Develop partner marketing strategies and GTM engagements to drive the growth, awareness, and adoption of our technology and solutions partners
- Create and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, acting as the main point of contact for all marketing-related activities.
- Measure and analyze the performance of partner marketing programs, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, partner landscapes, and changes in the SaaS market, and incorporate relevant insights into partner marketing strategies.
- Plan and execute end-to-end, integrated partner co-marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal and external cross-functional teams
- Oversee the development of jointly produced digital content, including web assets, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, etc
- Manage partner marketing budget

The product marketing team consists of results oriented SaaS marketing professionals with a strong mentality and desire to win in our market. They understand our buyers (sales, marketing & customer success leaders, sales & revenue operations) and uses (sales & customer facing teams) and can partner closely with internal teams and work closely with our customers and prospects. The professionals on our product marketing team share a few common traits: they are smart, analytical, creative problem solvers, self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about helping our teams evangelize Salesloft in the market. THE SKILL SET:
- BA/BS in business, marketing, statistics, computer science or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, partner marketing, demand generation in B2B SaaS
- Experience analyzing and developing strong point-of-view on market categories required.
- Experience presenting to both internal audiences and customers.
- Collaborative mentality by prioritizing ‘we’ and not focusing on ‘me’.
- Superb analytical skills in gathering information from various sources and teasing out the “so-what” and effectively communicating differentiated positioning to our teams.
- High level of empathy – it’s important for our product marketers to be a good person to their marketing peers, internal partners and customers.
- Experience in a sales role or sales-related role is strongly preferred.
- Experience with sales or marketing technology applications is strongly preferred.
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique.
- Join key portions of our Sales Bootcamp, where you will learn our software and all the skills necessary to set you up for success, allowing you to make an impact in the market quickly.
- Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and delve into your territory.
- Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them.
- Meet key partners across the ecosystem, as well across internal teams: product management, sales, customer success and the other marketing departments.
- Become demo certified.
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Understand your product ‘surface areas’ deeply and build strong relationships with your ecosystem partner counterparts
- Understand the Sales Engagement market and players
- Complete an audit of existing partner assets (sales tools, collateral, differentiation guides, sales training, previous launch materials, etc.)
- Put together a prioritized plan to create and update product assets
- Align with key partners on GTM initiatives
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be viewed as a subject matter expert on our market and our ecosystem value proposition
- Get pulled into a strategic marketing or company level project
- Lead partner conversations, strategize on ecosystem development, and own the developer narrative
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be considered a top-performing member of the product marketing team
- Set an example for new marketers and product marketers and assist in training, onboarding and motivating new Lofters
