As a member of Sugar’s Projects organization, the CRM Consultant role is integral to help meet team’s vision of ‘Customers for Life’. The CRM Consultant will wear multiple hats (i) Configure Sugar instances for customers (ii) successfully delivering post sales projects and assist other Sugar project members (iii) functionally understand the customers business needs and requirements. Throughout the course of an implementation, the CRM Consultant will work within the SugarCRM Projects team as a functional expert, ensuring the on-time delivery and representing the business in designing and defining the SugarCRM solution.

Responsibilities

  • Solving your clients’ business challenges by designing and implementing solutions to meet those objectives
  • Becoming the trusted solution expert during implementation of Sugar products
  • Leading system configuration through design and technical configuration activities
  • Delivering extraordinary customer relationships and taking ownership for ensuring success of client projects
  • Coordinating projects and managing customer and Sugar resources for project deliverables
  • Lead projects profitably. Spending 50-75% project delivery activities with billable utilization
  • Maintain a deep understanding of CRM best practices
  • Represent Sugar Projects as a CRM expert and project leader
  • Training clients on how to use Sugar products
  • Work across the SugarCRM organization to ensure customer needs and deliverables are met.  Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Experience, Product, Engineering and other members of the Sugar Projects organization to achieve department goals and objectives

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in CRM
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting and/or relevant customer facing roles
  • Demonstrated experience with solutions involving CRM, ERP, CPQ, Middleware, Marketing Automation, and other enterprise applications. An understanding of APIs and methods to integrate various applications is useful
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills required to understand business requirements and document them into best-in-class Solution Designs
  • Experience in professional services engagements with Business Analysis required and Project Management responsibility preferred
  • Experience facilitating requirements sessions with business users, IT and senior management
  • Experience working with global and offshore teams
  • Understanding of implementation methodology and practices – Agile, SCRUM, etc
  • Open to domestic travel (up to 30%)
  • Experience with Sugar products preferred

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Passionate, self-motivated with a proven track record in CRM technologies (or similar), enterprise environments and comfortable in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Organized and analytical, adept at maintaining client relationships and working in a team environment, able multi-task, to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle competing priorities.
£70,000 – £94,824 a year
