The Role:

Lead in the team effort to design, develop, code, test and debug new complex software or significant enhancements to existing software. Lead review of input for documentation of new or existing software. Apply existing and introduce new and approved technologies to develop solutions. Lead others in the application of principles, theories and concepts and use of methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects. May lead team to select and manage vendor.

Rapidly deploy dedicated internet connectivity over multi-service ports for fast, reliable Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) with Lumen® Internet On-Demand.

The Main Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Technical Director, Technical Architect, App/Web Developer, Database Administrator, System Administrator, Project Management, Account Management and Creative to create best-in-class websites and applications, completing all requirements and meeting usability expectations
  • Develops and/or maintains a sustainable front-end framework and coordinates with other team members
  • Partners with Technology personnel to develop creative marketing technology solutions in support of meeting client expectations
  • Estimates timeline for assigned projects and ensures that work is completed with the estimate given
  • Provides leadership in the development and implementation of short- and long-term technology plans and related policies and procedures
  • Takes a lead role in establishing and implementing standards that will facilitate a quality IT infrastructure all clients

What We Look For in a Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s in CS/ECE or equivalent experience
  • At Least 7+ Years of Experience and Knowledge of:
  • Understanding of Software Defined Networking, network technology router configurations and/ or provisioning tools and processes
  • Java, Groovy Script
  • Python
  • Node JS
  • Linux/Unix Systems (Red Hat/CentOS)
  • Kernel, Utilities, Installation, package management

Preferred skillset :

  • Experience with JSON or XML
  • Development of reliable, fault-tolerant software
  • Jira Agile practices
  • Experience with source code control (Git)
  • Cloud-Ready Application Experience
  • Automation Testing

Compensation:

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$94420 – $118028 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$99390 – $124230 in these states: AZ, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$104360 – $130448 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$109330 – $136665 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
