Instructure is seeking a dynamic Global People Business Partner (HRBP) with prior experience fully partnering and supporting multiple departments/teams. The ideal candidate will be someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and apply excellent business instincts, develop talent, use data to drive decisions, and help maintain an environment where employees can thrive. The position will be responsible for employees based in the Asia Pacific region and will support our sales and customer experience teams at a minimum.

What you will be doing

  • Partner with employees and management across all levels of the organization
  • Advise leaders on people issues including performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, and other areas as needed
  • Partner with People team to manage compensation programs including salary and equity reviews, market adjustments and promotions
  • Train leaders on management best practices
  • Provide leaders with proactive solutions to facilitate meeting business goals
  • Promote a culture of excellent customer experience, openness, ownership, trust, integrity, excellence and simplicity
  • Uphold our company values of openness, relationships, equality, and ownership (yes, that spells OREO)
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all HR and Office Services needs.
  • Coordinate office staff activities and assist with events to ensure maximum efficiency within budget.
  • Assist with company travel arrangements when necessary.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientations as well as employee onboarding.
  • Serve as the local liaison for HQ.

What you’ll need to know/have

  • BS Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR experience managing employee relations concerns and supporting business leaders as an HR Business Partner.
  • Solid understanding of compensation management including variable pay, bonus administration, and equity awards
  • Experience navigating and managing HRIS data, preferably in Workday
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills in business performance are required
  • Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships and partner with all levels of management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems and issues creatively
  • Attention to detail, organized and desire for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Unquestionable integrity and discretion
  • Confident, self-starter with ability to proactively address employee needs

Preference will be given to candidates with these skills:

  • Human Resource support to employees in multiple countries, including the U.S. and Asia Pacific Countries
  • Working within a SaaS, Engineering or Technical Organization
