Team Description:
The Content Ops team is the tour guide of Reddit. Welcoming new users and helping them discover where they belong and in the process supporting the growth of smaller unknown communities. As a member of this team, you will help improve Reddit’s content understanding and make a big impact on content experiences across all of Reddit.
Role Description:
You will map Reddit by contextualizing and identifying relationships between subreddits and posts based on culture, trends, audience, genre and/or theme. You will create categories and label subreddits and posts to improve Reddit’s content understanding, resulting in better ML recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Understand policy and labeling guidelines and execute accurate labels based on those guidelines.
- Content labeling (maintaining the accuracy and coverage of our community topics and ratings).
- QA of Machine Learning results and creation of data-sets for Machine Learning training.
- Identifying common patterns in datasets.
- Document insights based on labeling observations.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with investigating, reviewing, or assessing digital content.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for Reddit, internet culture and online trends.
Bonus Points:
- Proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
- Experience as a successful content creator/curator on TikTok/YouTube/Instagram.
- Experience as a moderator on Reddit.
