Piper Companies is seeking an Azure and 365 Administrator for a Health Information Exchange company. The role is 100% remote. The Azure and 365 Administrator will assist in the management, security, build, and maintenance of the company’s cloud infrastructure within Azure and Microsoft 365 platform.
Responsibilities
- Help to build, implement, maintain and configure any of various resources in the Azure platform.
- Manage Infrastructure Cloud tickets and requests queue to ensure SLAs are met.
- Develop and maintain solutions/scripts to support the automation of Azure cloud builds, configurations or information gathering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as DevOps, Integrations, and Cybersecurity to ensure business requirements are met.
- Manage and maintain both the Azure Environment and the Microsoft 365 Platform.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in server/network administration with 3-5 years of hands on Azure experience.
- A thorough understanding of Network Infrastructure and topology, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Network Monitoring tools as it pertains to Azure.
- Fundamental understanding of Azure technologies.
- VNETS – including subnetting, peering and Network Security Groups
- Virtual machines – Windows and Linux
- Alerts, logging, and storage accounts
- Entra ID
- Microsoft 365 / Exchange and Teams management.
- Intune experience is preferred.
- Scripting experience with either Azure CLI or PowerShell.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, OR equivalent years of experience plus certifications.
Compensation
- Base salary: $40-50/hour (contract-to-hire opportunity, rate based on experience)
