Position: AI Research Intern
Duration: August 11, 2025 – May , 2026
Part time, working 15 – 29 hours/week
Remote, based in Michigan (Eastern Time Zone)
Wage: $14/hour

The student internship program accepts international students with up-to-date work authorization for off-campus employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and assist with planning and preparation for internal company AI Task Force
- Plan and assist with the basic AI/ ChatGPT Training hosted by the internal AI Task Force
- Assist with developing, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting AI usage and policy metrics
- Help identify areas for improvement that AI could help with internal processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete AI research and policy documentation
- Assist with development of action plans, process maps, procedures, or other documentation to support AI implementation projects
- Track and report on status of projects using Atlassian’s Jira system
- Document, organize, and track meeting notes and actions
- Provide support for special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI tools and chat bots
- Experience with Microsoft products (e.g., Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook)
- Process improvement interest or experience
- Project management interest or experience
- Analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and as member of a team
- Open and flexible to change
- Willing to learn new tools/concepts/business vocabulary
