We are seeking a Payroll and HR Specialist to be responsible for day-to-day operations of Human Resources for our guardians throughout Europe. This role will manage the administrative tasks for the HR function in the EMEA region, and act as support for the HR team to ensure that all employees are enabled and empowered to perform at their highest potential.
The key responsibilities of this role are payroll, HR Admin and benefits, however there is opportunity to work with the broader HR team on a wide array of local and global projects and to interact with our team members around the world.Â

In this role you will:
- Work closely with internal teams and external payroll providers to ensure smooth payroll processing.Â
- Collect and provide payroll inputs for several EMEA countries.
- Develop a working knowledge of local country guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance, partnering with payroll, benefit, and tax providers for support.
- Provide payroll and benefits reporting to stakeholders, finance, and governmental agencies as required.Â
- Urgently and professionally respond to employee queries regarding pay and benefits through a CRM (Zendesk). Assist employees with benefit enrolment and life events.Â
- Manage accurate benefits administration and billing including healthcare and pension plans or SOC1 audits as required.
- Enter and maintain employee lifecycle changes in the HR System, (inc. new hires, terminations, compensation changes, organization changes etc.)Â
- Build and provide regular and ad hoc reporting, get involved in projects as required.Â
- Support with new joiner onboarding and new hire documentation and orientation training as needed.Â
- Assist with HR compliance projects
For this role, you should have:
- At least two yearsâ experience working in a Payroll and/or HR Administration role
- Strong Excel skills, particularly for reconciliation and analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Knowledge of relevant HR and payroll laws and best practices.Â
- Aptitude and interest in technology and knowledge of HR systems, preferably Workday
- A love for numbers, detail, and getting the job done right and on time.
- Innate ability to always act professionally and with the highest level of discretion and client service.Â
- Professional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences, including a fluency in business English.
- Excellent organizational skills, the ability to successfully prioritize and re-prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, while still delivering on timely manner.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a global team.
