We are seekingΒ aΒ Payroll and HR Specialist to beΒ responsible forΒ day-to-day operations of Human Resources for our guardians throughout Europe. This roleΒ willΒ manage theΒ administrative tasks for the HR functionΒ in the EMEA region, and act as support for the HR team to ensure that all employees are enabled and empowered to perform at their highest potential.

The key responsibilities of this role are payroll, HR Admin and benefits,Β however there is opportunity to work with theΒ broaderΒ HR team on a wide array of local and global projectsΒ and to interact with our team members around the world.Β

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with internal teams and external payroll providers to ensure smooth payroll processing.Β 
  • Collect and provide payroll inputs for several EMEA countries.
  • Develop a workingΒ knowledge of local country guidelinesΒ toΒ ensureΒ accuracy and compliance, partnering with payroll, benefit,Β and taxΒ providers for support.
  • Provide payroll and benefits reporting to stakeholders,Β finance, and governmental agencies as required.Β 
  • Urgently and professionally respond to employee queries regarding pay and benefits through a CRM (Zendesk). Assist employees with benefit enrolmentΒ and life events.Β 
  • Manage accurate benefits administration and billing including healthcare and pension plans or SOC1 audits as required.
  • Enter and maintain employee lifecycle changesΒ inΒ theΒ HR System, (inc. new hires, terminations, compensation changes, organization changes etc.)Β 
  • BuildΒ andΒ provide regular and ad hoc reporting, get involved in projects as required.Β 
  • Support withΒ newΒ joinerΒ onboarding andΒ new hire documentation and orientation training as needed.Β 
  • Assist with HR compliance projects

For this role, you should have:

  • At least twoΒ years’ experienceΒ working in a Payroll and/or HR Administration role
  • Strong Excel skills, particularly for reconciliation and analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Knowledge of relevant HR and payroll laws and best practices.Β 
  • AptitudeΒ and interest inΒ technology and knowledge of HR systems, preferably Workday
  • A love for numbers, detail, andΒ gettingΒ the job done rightΒ andΒ on time.
  • InnateΒ ability toΒ always act professionally and with the highest level of discretion and client service.Β 
  • Professional verbal and written communication skillsΒ with theΒ ability to adaptΒ yourΒ style to different audiences, including a fluency in business English.
  • Excellent organizational skills, the ability to successfully prioritize and re-prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, while still delivering on timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a global team.
