Description
The OpportunityThis position plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our Donor Advised Fund program. Responsibilities include multiple operational functions such as grant processing, new account opening and incoming contribution processing, allowing some of our core team members to dedicate time to a major system implementation. Responsibilities will also include transaction entry and approval, ensuring the quality and integrity of our donor advised fund data. Candidates must be US-based and be able to work Eastern Time Zone hours.

Key Responsibilities
Donor Advised Fund Administration· Ensure contributions and new accounts are set up and reviewed/approved within service level agreement timelines· Use attention to detail and logic to ensure transactional data quality· Support grant due diligence, electronic verification, and approval, as needed· Enter, review and approve various transaction types · Ensure proper instrument pricing for stock donations· Ensure daily donor advised fund account values are updated and accurate· Track account liquidity and identify transactions for processing through data feeds· Utilize ticket management system for timely and transparent processing of all responsibilities· Use judgement to escalate issues and requests appropriately Other· Provide excellent customer service via phone and email, as needed· Work cross-functionally with teams such as Client Engagement to ensure smooth operations and communication throughout the client life cycle· Other ad hoc duties as requiredÂ
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; least 5 years of experience in an operations, financial services or investment management/accounting role; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred experience in a highly transactional operations role
- Able to develop sense of urgency around processing and response timelinesÂ
- Strong Excel skills required and ability to interface with various technology systemsÂ
- Energetic and organized individual: highly attuned organizational skills, attention to detail, professional demeanor, ability to work independently and prioritize competing demandsÂ
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and resourcefulnessÂ
- Experience working in a virtual environment preferredÂ
- Knowledge and passion for using investing as a means by which to engender social or environmental impactÂ
- Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and ability to identify and implement process improvementsÂ
- Proficiency with Addepar or other portfolio accounting/reporting systemsÂ
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams requiredÂ
- Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration tools Box and Asana preferredÂ
