We seek highly motivated Engineering Managers who can lead a team to drive large, strategic, and complex projects. This position requires a high level of leadership, empathy, mentoring other engineers, and helping to design and architect scalable solutions.
In this role, you will face many challenges—from developing individual design system components to leading web accessibility efforts across AuditBoard. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves to collaborate with others but can also work independently to take an idea from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities
Lead engineering for AuditBoard’s Design Systems and Accessibility team
Mentor and inspire a diverse team of engineers with a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence
Manage and develop the team through hiring, retaining, mentoring, and continually building the team and individuals’ capabilities
Develop and nurture relationships with Product Management, QA, Delivery, Design, Customer Support, GTM, and product development teams to develop the best-in-class experience for our users
Own build and delivery of Luna, AuditBoard’s design system
Champion web accessibility efforts across all AuditBoard teams
Lead efforts to improve web accessibility of core AuditBoard components
Improve all aspects of the product—both technical and processes—and deliver outstanding results for our customers
Work cross-functionally with other engineering teams and product lines to support front-end products
Work closely with Product Management to set goals and objectives to define and execute the roadmap
Iterate and improve on agile best practices to deliver clarity and transparency within your team and across the organization
Attributes for a successful candidate
5+ years of experience developing modern tech stacks
2+ years managing an engineering team
Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, best practices, and techniques
Experience managing or building a design system
Modern JS Framework Experience: Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (Ember is preferred, but Vue, React, Angular, etc. are valuable for front-end collaboration).
Preferred
Experience in a highly regulated, ARC (Audit, Risk, and Compliance) environment.
Managed remote or distributed teams.
Experience in an agile development environment and with modern project management tools.
