JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Client Success Strategy is a leadership role, reporting to SVP of Client Success, responsible for shaping and driving the long-term strategic direction of Client Success team. We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused leader to serve as a trusted partner to the SVP of Client Success and a key driver of organizational change. JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
* Act as a trusted & strategic advisor to the SVP – Client Success, supporting strategic decision making and organization planning.
* Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, dashboards, and strategic narratives for board meetings, quarterly business reviews, and leadership offsites.
* Lead the annual strategic planning process, aligning cross-functional priorities and translating vision into measurable outcomes.
* Drive initiatives that enhance client satisfaction, retention, and growth through strategic insights and operational execution.
2. Change Leadership
* Champion change management strategies that foster agility, accountability, and innovation across the Client Success organization.
* Monitor team dynamics and performance to advise on people strategies that support transformation and growth.
* Serve as a culture catalyst, helping embed values and behaviors that drive a high performing culture.
3. Operational Excellence
* Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies across Client Success, scaling processes to proactively support growth and impact.
* Own & track KPI’s, performance reporting, delivering data-driven insights to inform executive decisions.
* Lead budget planning, staffing models, and service level optimization in support of SVP Client Success.
4. Cross Functional Leadership
* Lead strategic initiatives across Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations, ensuring alignment and accountability.
* Facilitate leadership meetings, offsites, and QBRs, driving clarity, follow-through, and strategic storytelling.
* Influence without authority, breaking down silos and fostering collaboration across teams.
5. Market & Competitive Intelligence
* Conduct competitive & market analyses to inform strategic direction and client success innovation.
* Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the business.
* Oversee client-facing events & communications, ensuring alignment with brand and growth strategy.
* Leverage Salesforce and Gainsight to manage client pipelines, track CSQLs, and drive engagement.
8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
9. Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s core values.
QualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
- 5+ years in strategic leadership roles within Client Success, Strategy, or Operations; healthcare experience preferred.
- Proven experience supporting C-level executives with strategic planning, presentation development, and organizational transformation.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives and present to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities; able to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence cross-functionally, and operate with discretion and emotional intelligence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
The salary range for this position is [$130K to $145K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
