Ethos Veterinary Health is adding a new, incremental Regional Referral Relations Group Manager (RRGM) to support our growing Referral Relations team. Reporting to the Director of Referral Relations, this role oversees referral outreach and engagement across the Southeast United States, helping strengthen partnerships with the general practice veterinary community and driving strategic growth for our specialty and emergency hospitals.
We are seeking candidates located in the Central or Eastern time zones to ensure efficient travel and strong alignment with hospital operations.
What You’ll Do:
Lead & Develop High-Performing Referral Engagement Teams (50%)
- Act as the functional leader for 7–10 Referral Relationship Managers (RRM) across multiple hospitals in the Southeast region.
- Provide hands-on coaching, mentorship, performance management, and accountability to drive individual and team success.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and continuously develop referral team members to support both individual hospital and organizational goals.
- Partner with hospital leadership to set clear performance expectations and ensure teams meet referral and engagement goals.
Drive Strategic Referral Engagement (30%)
- Collaborate with hospital and field leadership to align referral outreach strategies with each hospital’s growth priorities.
- Support and guide development of continuing education (CE) events and symposiums, including planning, accreditation, promotion, and ROI analysis.
- Partner with the Ethos Field Marketing team to develop targeted referral communications and engagement initiatives.
Leverage Data to Guide Decisions (10%)
- Analyze complex referral and market performance data to identify opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations.
- Deliver reporting and actionable insights that help strengthen referral management programs across assigned markets.
Collaborate Across the Ethos Network (10%)
- Work closely with Field Operations, Marketing, Talent Attraction, and other internal teams on cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of SOPs, best practices, toolkits, and data guides to enhance referral management consistency and excellence.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including relationship-building, business development, sales, communication, marketing or related fields.
- Direct experience managing, developing, and mentoring teams is required.
- Veterinary or animal health experience—particularly in specialty or emergency medicine—is strongly preferred.
- Technologically proficient with the ability to interpret and analyze performance metrics and market data.
- Ability to travel up to 40% throughout the Southeast region.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$115,000. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location.
