  • Recruit, onboard, train, and continuously develop referral team members to support both individual hospital and organizational goals.
  • Partner with hospital leadership to set clear performance expectations and ensure teams meet referral and engagement goals.

Drive Strategic Referral Engagement (30%)

  • Collaborate with hospital and field leadership to align referral outreach strategies with each hospital’s growth priorities.
  • Support and guide development of continuing education (CE) events and symposiums, including planning, accreditation, promotion, and ROI analysis.

  • Deliver reporting and actionable insights that help strengthen referral management programs across assigned markets.

Collaborate Across the Ethos Network (10%)

  • Work closely with Field Operations, Marketing, Talent Attraction, and other internal teams on cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of SOPs, best practices, toolkits, and data guides to enhance referral management consistency and excellence.

Who You Are:

Leadership Excellence

  • A proven team leader with direct experience coaching and managing small-to-medium sized teams, ideally in field, customer-facing, or business development roles.
  • Skilled in holding teams accountable, setting strong expectations, and fostering a culture of growth and performance.
  • A people-first, servant-leadership mindset that supports team empowerment and professional development.

Strategic & Analytical Strength

  • Ability to interpret and synthesize complex data into clear strategies and recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, especially in environments balancing short-term outreach needs with long-term growth priorities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing across diverse stakeholders.

Personal Attributes

  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong initiative and high standards.
  • Grit, determination, adaptability, and creativity when facing challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills across in-person, phone, email, and virtual platforms.
  • Curiosity and a strong desire to continuously learn and help drive organizational growth.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude who contributes to a healthy culture and works well with diverse colleagues.
  • Coachable, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn and grow within a dynamic and expanding organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including relationship-building, business development, sales, communication, marketing or related fields.
  • Direct experience managing, developing, and mentoring teams is required.
  • Veterinary or animal health experience—particularly in specialty or emergency medicine—is strongly preferred.
