SugarCRM is looking for a talented, energetic, and driven individual to join our team as a Customer Business Development Representative. Supporting the EMEA sales team, you are responsible for reaching out to current clients and sparking interest in additional solutions offered by SugarCRM.
It is critical that the person in this role be a self-starter, strategic, and willing to go above and beyond for client satisfaction. Building rapport with contacts through phone calls and emails – including C-Suite level – comes naturally to you.  You will work closely with customer success managers on identifying growth opportunities within the existing client base. This involves gathering key information to update the CRM system and assigning the next steps for sales or marketing nurture paths.

Responsibilities:

  • Outreach to customer accounts using a mix of telephone calls, email, social selling, and other communication mediums.
  • Create a fantastic customer experience with a friendly attitude, compelling messaging, and consistent follow-up.
  • Schedule appointments and demos for upsell and cross-sell opportunities into the existing customer base
  • Educate and develop leads to turn them into qualified opportunities.
  • Research accounts to understand potential needs, enable effective follow-up, and generate interest.
  • Successfully manage and overcome objections.
  • Build relationships and effectively communicate with members of the CSM and management.
  • Stay current on the SugarCRM products and solutions.
  • Actively look for opportunities to improve and optimize lead management.
  • Record information and maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in German and English
  • At least one year of experience in outbound selling/demand generation
  • A proven track record of delivering sales results and exceeding goals
  • Experience with value-based selling is highly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, determined, and results-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills and comfortable with meeting deadlines
  • Positive attitude, team oriented, and a self-starter
  • Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria
  • Comfortable learning key software applications

To stand out from the crowd:

  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Italian would give you an added advantage
  • Experience of using sales cadence tools such as Salesloft, Outreach etc.
  • Experience of web chat tools
  • Ability to work regularly in our Munich office
