The Role

As a Care Navigator, you’ll be doing the important, meaningful work of managing crises, providing in-the-moment telephone support to clients with complex behavioral health issues, ensuring client safety, and connecting clients to high-quality, evidence-based providers and facilities. This position does not involve providing in-person services or therapy but instead focuses on supporting clients in connecting to care, exclusively by phone and email.

Current shifts available include:

  • Sunday – Wednesday 7 am – 6 pm PT
  • Friday – Monday 7 am – 6 pm PT
  • Tuesday – Saturday 9:30 am – 6 pm PT
  • Sunday – Thursday 9:30 am – 6pm PT

Responsibilities

  • Using evidence-based interventions, skillfully manage client crises, providing brief risk assessment, safety planning, and de-escalation with the goal of connecting the client to treatment
  • Identify roadblocks to clinical care options for our clients using Lyra’s proprietary software and other methods to connect clients to the ideal treatment, based on specific needs and preferences
  • Independently manage a caseload of complex, multi-need clients

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in clinical social work or equivalent; LCSW or equivalent independent clinical licensure is required (e.g. LMFT, LPC, LPCC, etc). We’re unable to provide supervised hours toward licensure. Candidates without a state license to deliver mental health services, independently, will not be considered
  • Must have Two years post license experience (EAP/clinical call center experience preferred)
  • Significant experience managing high-risk clinical situations (e.g., suicidality, mandated reporting)
  • Bilingual, Spanish-speaking candidates strongly preferred (but not required)
  • Must be a full time resident of the United States; work cannot be completed from outside the United States.

Pay and Benefits

The anticipated hourly base rate for this full-time position is $38.65 per hour. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
