Experian Marketing Services offers a variety of products and services aimed at enabling the effective buying and selling of advertising.  Experian is known in the industry for providing high quality consumer attributes that allow marketers to understand their target audience and reach them across a variety of platforms.

As a Group Product Manager in Experian’s Activation vertical, you’ll be responsible for making Experian and Partner/Client audiences available on a wide-variety of buy and sell-side platforms throughout the ecosystem.  This includes working directly with external platforms from engagement to delivery to enable a combination of syndicated and custom audiences on their public and private shelves.

As part of this role, you’ll also work cross-functionally across Product, Technology, and Commercial teams to facilitate the end-to-end delivery of our roadmap commitments.  This includes managing backlogs, writing requirements, and facilitating the testing and validation of our solutions.

This role can be worked remotely in the US or Canada, or on-site/hybrid in our NYC office.

Responsibilities

  • Translate our needs into technical requirements that are shared and understood with Technology, Delivery teams and other partners.
  • Responsible for building, validating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog of requirements, balancing the demands of the business and technology.
  • Develop strong relationships with the activations platforms and ensure timely delivery of integrations including scalable ways to benefit Experian and the partner in forward thinking design.
  • You will work across demand, supply, social, advanced and connected TV media platforms to build integrations with incumbent and emerging activation endpoints so we can deliver Experian data for audience targeting.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration – You’ll work closely with other Agile product teams to help facilitate delivery of integrations on existing and emerging identifiers. You will also collaborate with other agile teams to understand how the integration capabilities power different Experian offerings.
  • Manage internal communications and documentation about integration partners.
  • Own progress reports and status updates, including issue escalation that impact milestones and release cadence.
  • Collaborate across our teams in different locations to identify dependencies, requirements, and approvals.

Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of the programmatic advertising and marketing technology space including how audience integrations into leading activation platforms function.
  • Expertise in the demand, supply, social and advanced TV space including CTV.
  • Past experience building and managing integrations including APIs and file-based delivery of audiences.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Proven ability to write effective business and technical requirements, including epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to build a strong partnership across various functions, including Technology and commercial teams.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of deliverables, and the rationale for prioritizing/not prioritizing specific work.
  • Proven track record of effective delivery in a fast-paced organization, recognizing the need for business planning and agile delivery.
