Sample interview questions
For a CISO, I would focus on threat scenarios, data exposure reduction, privacy controls, reporting, deployment considerations, and how the platform supports the security program. For a business executive, I would emphasize business risk, workforce protection, operational scalability, and the measurable value of reducing phishing, impersonation, and identity-fraud exposure.
I first classify questions by technical, privacy, legal, and operational ownership, then gather validated answers and supporting evidence from the appropriate internal teams. I maintain a reusable knowledge base, clearly identify exceptions or roadmap items, and ensure the response is accurate, consistent, and delivered in time to keep the opportunity moving.
I would acknowledge their existing investments and position personal-data exposure as a complementary human-risk layer. I would connect exposed PII to practical attack paths such as targeted phishing, executive impersonation, doxxing, and identity fraud, then show how DeleteMe reduces intelligence available to threat actors rather than replacing endpoint, identity, or email security controls.
I would establish joint success criteria, stakeholders, scope, timelines, technical requirements, and a baseline before launch. During the POC, I would provide structured check-ins, document outcomes and blockers, and finish with a results review that maps demonstrated value to the buyer's security and business objectives.
I explain the limitation directly, clarify its practical impact, and avoid overstating capabilities. I then provide the available workaround, relevant roadmap context where appropriate, and a clear ownership plan, which builds credibility and helps the buyer make an informed decision.
