Junior SOC Analyst

I am a CEH-certified Junior SOC Analyst with hands-on experience in SOC operations, network engineering, Linux administration, and Windows Server administration.

I have built and operated self-hosted and cloud-based SOC lab environments using Wazuh, Splunk, Nessus Essentials, Kali Linux, Parrot OS, and Windows endpoints. These labs have strengthened my ability to analyze logs, triage alerts, investigate authentication events, and document incidents.

I am experienced in simulating attacks such as brute-force attempts with Hydra and analyzing the resulting security telemetry in Wazuh. I map security events to the MITRE ATT&CK framework, including T1110 for brute force activity.

I have practical vulnerability management experience using Nessus Essentials, Nmap, and OpenVAS. I can assess vulnerabilities, prioritize findings by severity, identify missing patches and weak configurations, and produce remediation-focused reports.

My networking background includes Cisco IOS, VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, OSPF, DHCP, ACLs, TCP/IP, and subnetting. I have designed segmented enterprise lab networks and implemented access controls for secure connectivity.

I am seeking a Junior SOC Analyst or Junior Penetration Tester opportunity where I can apply my cybersecurity training, analytical mindset, and practical lab experience to help detect, investigate, and remediate security threats.
