Senior AI Product Engineer / Frontend & Full-Stack Developer

I take on remote frontend, full-stack, and AI product contracts for teams in Europe, the UK, the US, Canada, and Australia. I set technical direction, establish quality standards, and deliver production-ready web products from Slovenia.

I built matjazkorosec.com in Next.js and TypeScript as an interactive career experience. Its in-browser AI assistant answers questions from CV-based sentence embeddings with no API or ongoing runtime cost, validated through an evaluation suite of 327 questions.

I built features using Nuxt UI and Tailwind Variants for 12 international casino brands operating on a shared Nuxt frontend serving more than 7 million players monthly. I also reviewed pull requests to maintain consistency in shared code.

I investigated rendering and performance issues, improving SSR, lazy loading, and asset delivery for high-traffic pages. I independently built an AI application with Claude Code that learned the casino back office, planned tasks, recorded workflows, added narration and multilingual captions, and used Playwright, on-device voices, and FFmpeg to create support videos.

I delivered independent frontend and full-stack work directly for clients, including a custom CMS implementation for a dental practice. I worked as the sole developer from the initial client call through production launch.

I built the CMS and React/Next.js frontend around the needs of non-technical staff, enabling them to manage content without relying on developer support. I collaborated directly with the designer to turn requirements into a usable product.

I established a design system used across five projects, improving visual consistency and reducing the time needed to build new screens by approximately one third. I aligned three departments around a shared integration framework and supported major projects through delivery.
