Senior Full-Stack Engineer

I maintain and improve SecurityScorecard's cybersecurity platform as a full-stack engineer. I develop and deliver features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, React Query, Redux, and PostgreSQL, while also improving APIs, database queries, code quality, and system reliability.

I led the migration of a large Elasticsearch cluster to OpenSearch, covering nearly one billion documents and 700 GB of data. The migration preserved performance and reduced monthly infrastructure costs from approximately $50K to $12K. I also participate in on-call support and use Cursor and Claude for development, debugging, refactoring, testing, architecture exploration, and documentation.

I worked as a full-stack engineer supporting Amazon Games projects. I built tools that automated publisher workflows for publishing new games on Amazon, repaired pipelines, and delivered marketplace improvements and new features.

My work used Java, React, GraphQL, Node.js, Next.js, and Redux. I contributed across both frontend and backend implementation to improve operational efficiency for publishers and marketplace users.

I worked as a frontend engineer on a point-of-sale system for the cannabis industry. I developed and improved user-facing functionality for the product.

I used React, Redux, and GraphQL to build maintainable frontend features and support the ongoing development of the POS platform.

I worked on multiple full-stack projects for forte.io, including a large-scale Twitch extension for a blockchain-powered game. The platform used React, Redux, RxJS, observable patterns, WebSockets, JSON-RPC, and Java with the Lagom framework.

I also developed administrative tools for Taki.app, a token-powered social network. This work used React, Redux, RxJS, JSON-RPC, Node.js, and Express to support community and reward-management workflows.

I was the lead engineer for ControleNaMão, a point-of-sale system. I developed and maintained features using Java and Angular, managed Google Cloud deployments, assessed technical feasibility, and helped prioritize product work based on complexity, customer needs, and roadmap priorities.

I owned fiscal obligations and liabilities features, including generation and communication of government sales data, XML fiscal-data storage for audits, reporting, and data export. I onboarded and led three interns and two engineers, distributed team tasks, and introduced pull requests, code reviews, and integration tests to improve code quality and maintainability.

I created new functionality and improved existing features across in-house and third-party software products. My work covered both frontend and backend development for business applications.
