Web and Infrastructure Security Engineer

I provide L2/L3 web proxy, product, and firewall support for McAfee/Trellix, Skyhigh Web Proxy, Zscaler Internet Access, and Check Point environments. I manage cloud and on-premises proxy policies, including URL filtering, content filtering, user and group rules, server rules, Microsoft and media filtering, whitelisting, blacklisting, and proxy bypass or redirect configurations.

I troubleshoot HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, SSL/TLS certificate, authentication, and internet connectivity issues. I analyze on-premises logs through rule tracing and CLI tools and cloud logs through CSRs and analytics portals, while also performing proxy OS upgrades and supporting global ZIA operations.

I administer Trellix ePO policies and deploy configurations to endpoints, servers, VDIs, and macOS systems through Trellix Agent and OPGs. I conduct health checks for global servers and vulnerability scanners, run Rapid7 InsightVM scans, generate remediation reports, and help maintain endpoint security and compliance.

I also manage change activities, participate in team interviews, train new joiners, prepare team rosters, and maintain SLA reporting for tickets, changes, and operational tasks.

I supported dedicated and secure IT infrastructure for corporate clients and global partners. I handled service tickets, change orders, issue reporting, and operational communication with management.

I provided L1 support for Azure AD and Windows Active Directory, including user and computer account administration. I created, configured, and managed Azure virtual machines, Azure resources, and storage accounts.

I resolved endpoint operating system and network issues, performed SFC and DISM scans, disk maintenance, and system cleanup. I also supported domain migrations, Windows 7 to Windows 10 migrations using in-place upgrades, image management, and Windows operating system installations.

I monitored alarms and operational health for voice devices from Cisco, Avaya, Nice, and BT. I engaged vendors when required and monitored and troubleshot Avaya Media Gateways.

I monitored E1/T1 PRI link quality and coordinated with service providers and carriers to resolve bad links, gateway layer alerts, and hardware issues. I also changed coverage paths and rerouted calls through Avaya Site Administrator.

I checked PRI status, traced logs using circuit details, and monitored applications through Sockeye to support stable voice network operations.
