I am a dedicated Mathematics and Business Studies teacher with a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Kenyatta University, awarded with Second Class Honours, Upper Division. I have experience teaching secondary school learners and supporting their academic development.
I plan and deliver engaging lessons that respond to curriculum requirements and learners' individual needs. My teaching approach develops mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and practical understanding of business concepts.
I am skilled in lesson planning, schemes of work, instructional material preparation, formative and summative assessment, and learner progress monitoring. I use feedback and targeted intervention strategies to address learning gaps and support improvement.
I create orderly, supportive, and inclusive classroom environments through effective classroom management, differentiated instruction, and learner engagement. I also maintain accurate academic records and professional teaching documentation.
I use educational technology, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace for Education to strengthen lesson delivery and participation. I collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and school communities to support learner achievement.
I am keen to contribute my transferable teaching skills within an international school environment and continue developing my practice in line with Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and assessment objectives.
