Co-Founder and Head of Development Porifera FZC
I co-founded Porifera FZC and lead the hands-on product development of a cybersecurity data collection platform for OT, IoT, and IT threat detection. The platform collects and analyzes protocols and logs including MODBUS, BACnet, MQTT, Windows, and Linux data.
I architect multi-platform collection agents, backend services, and fleet management using Go, gRPC, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Redis pub/sub. I lead developers and freelancers across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, including Angular, TypeScript, Prometheus, and Grafana.
I developed a custom Java authentication handler integrating Apache Kafka with Keycloak through OAuth2. I also rewrote a Go Kafka-to-Prometheus exporter in Rust, achieving substantially higher throughput through profiling with perf and flamegraphs, and design a hybrid Azure Marketplace deployment.
