Senior API Developer

I work as an Apigee Developer Lead for the API Integration team. I design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and lead API lifecycle activities including design, prototyping, publishing, monitoring, and retirement.

I implement API security and traffic-management capabilities including OAuth2, JWT, throttling, CORS, caching, logging, and error handling. I automate deployments through CI/CD pipelines, monitor integrations using AppDynamics, Splunk, and Elasticsearch, troubleshoot production issues, and guide junior developers in Agile delivery practices.

I worked on a client project for L'Oréal as an Apigee Developer in the integration team. I gathered API requirements, designed APIs, defined Swagger specifications, and developed API proxies on the Apigee Edge platform.

I secured API proxies using API keys, OAuth 2.0, LDAP, and content-protection policies. I implemented traffic-management policies such as quota, spike arrest, and concurrent rate limits; developed fault-response mechanisms; monitored APIs with Apigee Trace; and supported proof of concepts and offshore team coordination.

I worked on a Novartis client project as an Oracle OSB Developer, delivering development tasks managed through Jira. I developed SOAP services and web services using WSDL, SOAP, XML, Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle BPEL, and Oracle SOA Suite.

I designed, developed, and deployed middleware interfaces using BPEL Process Manager. My work included BPEL process models, partner links, process templates, WSDL development, exception handling, compensation handlers, and XSLT-based transformations.
