Senior Backend Engineer

Architected and developed a production-grade multi-tenant SaaS backend for B2C wellness users and B2B enterprise clients. Built a platform with more than 80 controllers and 335 MongoDB models, including a role-based access control system supporting six user roles.

Integrated OpenAI GPT-3.5 and Pinecone for personalized wellness recommendations, sentiment analysis, meal plans, wellness insights, and content generation. Developed real-time chat, presence tracking, notifications, and Agora call signaling with Socket.io, plus wearable data synchronization through Rook API. Built 41 production cron jobs and media processing pipelines using FFmpeg, Sharp, Amazon S3, and CloudFront.

Architected scalable microservices using Node.js, NestJS, Redis, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and TypeORM. Designed enterprise RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, and logistics applications.

Developed distributed, event-driven backend services with asynchronous processing and Redis caching to improve scalability and fault tolerance. Containerized applications with Docker, deployed cloud-native services on AWS, integrated payment and communications services, and collaborated through Git, Jira, Agile practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Mentored junior engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance.

Developed scalable web applications using Node.js, Express.js, React.js, GraphQL, and MongoDB. Built RESTful APIs, backend business logic, and reusable modules using clean architecture principles.
