Full-Stack Developer

I design database structures and develop web application screens, APIs, and integrations based on storyboards, mock-ups, and business rules. I independently developed the HALO web application, an administrative platform that enables clients to manage their customer-facing websites, including storefront content, bookings, ordering transactions, user authorization, permissions, class and facility scheduling, and inventory management.

I integrated customer-facing storefronts with secure APIs and third-party services including Authorize.Net and Shippo. I also enhanced the CORE job-ticketing system by adding workflow dependencies, employee task management, department visibility, reassignment and cancellation functions, reporting, client information management, artwork management, and corresponding database changes.

I built utilities for generating JavaScript and HTML promotional assets for managed content sites and created an e-blast builder that allows account managers to assemble email campaigns, upload images, enter content, and publish without developer assistance.

I started as a consultant and was later hired as a direct employee supporting health insurance product maintenance and configuration. I worked on applications that supported sales and marketing teams and generated customer benefit and coverage documentation.

I maintained and significantly improved the Benefit Viewer and Product Builder intranet applications using Microsoft SQL Server, C# .NET, Java SOAP web services, and business rules. I created Java SOAP services for internal applications and batch processes, as well as Java PDF reports for Summary of Benefits and Coverage and Benefit Summary documents.

I developed MuleSoft integrations that exposed Java web service WSDLs through RESTful URLs. I also created and maintained Java services using OpenRules to mass-create insurance products.

I worked as a consultant on assignments for The Noteworthy Company, including the Icebird ERP system, a customized open-source ERP platform based on Opentaps and Apache OFBiz. I customized modules, implemented new functionality, developed screens, reports, notifications, and forms, and supported PostgreSQL-based enterprise application development.

I integrated the ERP system with Google, Zendesk, Amazon S3, and company online stores. I also created API class libraries used to integrate the ERP platform with the organization’s e-commerce properties.

For the Sticker Mule online store, I customized a Ruby on Rails and Spree Commerce application. I developed and modified screens and features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery, integrated the storefront with Icebird ERP and cloud services, and updated database structures to support Noteworthy-specific processes and administration.

I worked on enterprise applications for automotive financing, publishing, directory services, and e-billing. For the Royal Bank of Canada Overdrive automotive financing system, I corrected defects, adapted database packages to a redesigned architecture, managed report-generation workflows, and implemented and tested Jobserver scheduling processes.

I developed configuration guides and technical report specifications for other developers. I also built a Java Messaging Service tool for Peugeot Citroen that consumed XML event traffic, parsed data, and stored it in a database for web reporting.

For Yellow Pages Association applications, I initially served as the sole developer for client change orders and later led two additional developers. I developed JSP and Java functionality, Oracle 10g PL/SQL validations, Oracle Text search indexing, Java reminder and memo processes, and UNIX shell scripts scheduled through Cron. I also provided production support and traveled to GXS in Denville, New Jersey as a key resource for the YPA E-Billing automation initiative.

Studied computer engineering with strong performance in programming and mathematics subjects. Developed an early and continuing interest in programming and information technology.

Completed training in Oracle Developer 2000 and EDP concepts and program logic formulation.
