About

Professional summary

I am a backend developer with 1.5 years of experience building Java and Spring Boot services for consumer fintech products, including lending, payments, cards, and personal finance management.

I own lending integrations across six partners and have delivered end-to-end loan lifecycle capabilities, including eligibility, KYC, disbursal, EMI repayment, and foreclosure. I focus on building reliable systems that enable users to self-serve and reduce support dependency.

I have designed and maintained transaction systems, including a double-entry ledger for salary advances and personal loans. My work includes schema design, API integrations, production support, data reconciliation, and scalable event-driven processing.

I built an in-house Personal Finance Management platform from scratch using the RBI Account Aggregator framework. The platform ingests financial data, generates user insights, and supports a paid subscription product.

I work primarily with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, and messaging systems such as SQS. I am experienced with observability, testing, secure data handling, and production-grade microservices.

I also enjoy solving systems problems, demonstrated through a concurrent air traffic control simulation built with C, POSIX primitives, System V IPC, and pthreads.

Software Engineer SalarySe

Backend Software Engineer for a consumer fintech platform focused on lending, payments, credit cards, and personal finance. Owns the lending vertical across six partners and the in-house Personal Finance Management platform, acting as the sole reviewer for changes across both codebases from schema design and third-party integrations through production support.

Implemented the complete loan lifecycle through partner APIs, including eligibility, KYC, disbursal, EMI repayment, and foreclosure. Integrated credit cards, HRMS payroll, and BBPS bill payments to support self-service customer journeys.

Designed the double-entry transaction ledger for Instacash salary advances and personal loans, reconciling drawdowns, repayments, and balances across approximately INR 1 crore in monthly transaction value. Improved reliability by routing events through Amazon SQS with bounded retries and a dead-letter queue, replacing manual bank-statement reconciliation with replayable failure handling.

Built an email-ingestion microservice from scratch that converts bank and card alert emails into structured PFM transactions using Gmail OAuth, message-level deduplication, and KMS encryption. Re-architected the lending platform into a configuration-driven multi-lender system, scaled integrations from one to six partners, and built a PFM subscription platform serving more than 20,000 consented users and 1,800+ paying subscribers.

DevOps Intern K2 Cloud Pvt. Ltd.

I used LAMP stack to deploy and host website and security enhancements.
