Senior Java Backend Developer

I lead the development of highly available financial transfer systems for entities in Peru, using a microservices architecture based on Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Oracle 18c. I also lead technical teams working on interbank transfer solutions for Paraguay using Java, Oracle, Angular, and SQL Server.

I design and deploy on-premises Kubernetes clusters and AWS EKS environments, including auto-scaling, Ingress controllers, and secret management with External Secrets Operator. I implemented Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments, reducing delivery times by 60%.

I build and integrate RESTful and SOAP services with Spring Boot, JAX-WS, and Apache CXF. My responsibilities include ISO 20022 message validation, JWE/JWT-based digital signatures, interoperable EMV QR payment development, and administrative web development with JSF, PrimeFaces, and Java EE 8.

I implemented and supported the ACH Client system for banks including Económico, Ganadero, Bisa, and Sol, as well as cooperatives. The platform handled high-concurrency ACH transfers and QR codes with electronic-signature validation.

I developed virtual invoicing web services integrating SOAP services from the national tax authority using Java EE 7 and Oracle PL/SQL. I also managed scheduled jobs, asynchronous messaging, and stored procedures in Oracle PL/SQL.

I updated and maintained a service-payment middleware platform using USSD, Java EE 7, and SOAP integrations. The system connected service providers including Natura, YPFB, Tigo Star, and Credinform.

For the Tigo SRU project, I implemented web services that improved bulk-record processing by 200%. I also administered Linux servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server.
