Electrical Engineer

Led a team of six personnel, including design engineers, close-out officers, a right-of-way officer, and a draftsman, while directing more than 13 line-construction contractors. Delivered over 100 distribution line projects annually, including 144 projects and 86.5 circuit kilometers of new lines in 2025.

Supervised a 25 km, 69 kV sub-transmission line from design through completion, valued at approximately EUR 1.5 million. Inspected sites for compliance with technical specifications, safety rules, and schedules, and accepted completed work.

Reviewed and approved more than 500 staking plans, bills of materials, and work orders. Verified contractor billing and managed project close-out activities, including as-built documentation, material reconciliation, and final billing. Prepared the technical report for uprating a substation from 10 MVA to 20 MVA.

Surveyed and staked new, relocated, and rehabilitated electrical distribution lines. Prepared bills of materials, staking sheets, work schedules, and Gantt charts.

Monitored on-site construction progress and recommended change orders when needed. Designed the substation layout for the Polomolok Substation upgrade.

Performed load flow, short-circuit, system-loss, and reliability analysis using Synergee Electric. Calculated SAIDI and SAIFI reliability indices and prepared system-loss data for regulatory reporting.

Investigated outages and voltage complaints and recommended corrective actions. Designed the layout of a 35 MVA substation in 2013 and prepared capital investment projects.

Troubleshot machine failures using wiring diagrams and the Philippine Electrical Code. Installed and maintained electrical wiring, control, and lighting systems.

Trained co-workers in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair practices.
