Senior Software Engineer - iOS

I work on Uber's Mobility Verticals Mobile team, contributing to Shuttles, CarPool, and Intercity products. I build iOS experiences using Uber RIBs, RxSwift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, with a focus on scalable native interfaces and product delivery.

I led the iOS integration for the India Intercity Buses launch, embedding third-party PWAs and web components in native web views while collaborating with Ixigo and guiding partner teams. I also served as the sole iOS developer for the Outstation Travel Tab and worked with the Director of Engineering to test product ideas.

I managed two interns and an SDE1 while extending the shuttle platform for FIFA World Cup stadium shuttles, supporting over 40,000 riders. This work reduced shuttle dead-ends by 15% and increased rider booking conversion by 10%. I additionally built a Waiting Room experience using TripEx, delivered Route Share launch features, modernized the Hourly landing page in PresidioSwiftUI, and created an AI-powered Slack integration for automated code reviews.

I was part of the iOS post-payment application development team. I contributed to improving payment-related user experiences and building production-ready mobile features.

I helped revamp the transaction details screen using a widget-based architecture. I also developed the Download Transaction Statement feature and built and shipped a new Transaction Confirmation Screen end to end.

I worked on ReleaseBot, a command-line tool built with .NET. My responsibilities included fixing bugs and implementing new features to improve the tool's functionality and reliability.

I also contributed to native code restructuring for CT Lesion Segmentation, supporting improvements to the underlying software architecture.

I worked remotely as a backend development intern using TypeScript, NestJS, DynamoDB, and Redis. I contributed to backend capabilities for a chat application.

I used Redis hashes and sets to add multi-device messaging support and admin privileges for chat rooms. I also integrated third-party services and APIs including Google Calendar, Zoom, Stripe, and PayPal.
