Senior iOS Engineer

I own iOS and Flutter development across four consumer applications in a hybrid role. I deliver end-to-end mobile features, continuous releases, and shared subscription infrastructure for iOS and Android products.

For Translator, I built camera, image, and voice translation across 20 languages, using OCR, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech. I migrated the OCR and translation pipeline from Google ML Kit to Apple Vision and Natural Language for on-device processing, converted the native iOS app to Flutter with feature parity, and integrated RevenueCat paywalls.

For Tawk, I engineered an on-device background relay to decrypt and deliver messages from multiple networks into a unified inbox, while adding AI-powered conversation features. I also built QR and barcode scanning applications for iOS and Flutter and created Bitebot, an AI calorie tracker and recipe assistant with meal logging, photo-based food recognition, nutrition tracking, and personalized recipe suggestions.

I led consumer utility and creativity applications from initial concept through App Store release in an on-site role. I built reusable, scalable iOS solutions and ensured products met quality, testing, and performance requirements before launch.

I led Stickerfab, a sticker and emoji creator that transforms photos into customizable stickers and supports templates and sticker-pack export. I also led DocuScan, a document scanning application with OCR, auto-cropping, batch scanning, cloud storage, and PDF/JPG export, and built a high-speed PDF scanner with image enhancement and smart cropping.

I additionally led development of a React Native personal budgeting application for expense tracking and spending goals. I ran code reviews for junior developers and planned individual and team development sessions.

I designed and built the SADAD Payment App for bill payments and prepaid mobile recharges in Bahrain. The app supported instant debit-card payments for services such as phone, internet, electricity, and water, as well as recharge providers including STC and Zain.

I collaborated with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. I implemented REST API integrations with backend services, fixed defects, improved performance, and integrated networking and existing backend infrastructure.

I used Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Alamofire, Codable, Keychain, SSL pinning, MVVM, and localization support for Arabic right-to-left interfaces.
