About Me
I've spent my social media career focused on organic content and authentic community building at companies like TIFF, the ROM, and Smile Rewards. I'm Chronically Online, love connecting with folks, know all the good memes, and love making purposeful content. I also have a lot of experience with logistics and team/project organizing (read: cat herding), starting back from when I worked front-of-house roles at film festivals, all the way up to my current role where I've built extensive internal resources, documentation, and databases for my team. My skills are also super transferable and I love jumping into new adventures!

As Smile's first Community Manager, I was the advocate for—and driving force behind—creating a community of e-commerce enthusiasts from the ground up. We strove to create content that would delight and inspire our community and through our Community Mission we wanted to help small businesses, entrepreneurs, and e-commerce enthusiasts learn, grow, and thrive.
More specifically, that translated into:
- Full autonomy and creative control over the strategic direction and execution of our Community Mission
- Developing the Community Playbook (strategic goals, TOV, content pillars, tactics, etc)
- Producing dynamic and purposeful content series for multiple social channels
- Managing the social content calendar and daily community management
- Collaborating with other departments for special campaigns, announcements, product releases, etc
- Collaborated with the content team to produce organic social content for clients
- Regularly liaised with clients to present content options and pitch ideas
- Clients included: H&R Block Canada, O2 Industries, TikTok, PC Financial, PC Optimum
- Worked with the COO to develop his social strategy/brand and produce multiple content series
- Developed and executed effective social media strategies to foster community engagement
- Created engaging campaigns and captivating content for exhibitions including In The Age of Rembrandt, It's Alive!, Bloodsuckers, Treasures of a Desert Kingdom
- Created engaging content and campaigns for the Festival and year-round initiatives
- Led the successful 2018 Share Her Journey social campaign
- Was asked to return as a Social Producer for the 2019 Festival (Sep 2019)
