Controller/ Financial analyst

• Full cycle accounting (JD Edwards, Sage)
• Monthly Internal financial and management reporting to the local management and Houston head office management (ReportsNow, Excel Spreadsheet server)
• Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts (Blackline)
• Quarterly extensive reporting, forecasting, deviation analysis
• Work in close collaboration with KPMG audit teams
• Annual financial and income tax reporting
• Intercompany eliminations of revenue, rental assets and AR/AP for head office monthly consolidation

• Performing monthly financial, performance and sales data analysis for senior management using Power BI dashboard
• Managing month end consolidation and accounting for 5 Canadian entities using Sage 3000 and Sage intelligence and preparing reporting package for top management.
• Preparing ad hoc reports, analysis and notes for various CFO’s and VP’s requests on any current and future projects and processes, using various software tools including but not limited to SQL and Power BI
• Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, including notes disclosure and the MD&A, coordinating with external auditors, and presenting the results to the CFO

▪ Performing renewal of budgets and forecasts on a monthly basic, performing variance analysis (SQL, Excel PowerPivot)
▪ Performing month end procedures for financial closure and reporting to the head office (including GST, AR/AP and various general ledger reconciliations)
Collaborating with marketing and sales teams giving analytical support for their activities and forecasts (Salesforce)
